Line up! Line up!
There were set distribution points and times for handing out specific items on specific days, for example, waterproof jackets on Thursdays or shoes on Tuesdays.
After the compulsory hellos and hugs or handshakes, a human chain would form and migrants and volunteers would unload the required number of boxes into the distribution shed. People from the different migrant communities take responsibility to help distribute that day’s items assisted by volunteers.
